Data Patterns (India) Limited has announced that it has secured an order worth ₹288 crore from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for the supply of 32 Doppler Weather Radars.
The contract involves the supply of advanced radar systems aimed at strengthening India’s weather monitoring and forecasting infrastructure. The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and will be executed in accordance with the terms specified in the contract.
Doppler Weather Radars play a critical role in tracking weather patterns, detecting precipitation, and providing early warnings for severe weather events, thereby supporting disaster management and aviation safety.
This order further reinforces Data Patterns’ position in the high-technology electronics segment, particularly in supplying mission-critical systems for government and institutional clients.
