Patel Engineering Limited has been declared the lowest bidder for a major infrastructure contract from Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) for the Renukaji Dam Project.
The project (Package‑1) is valued at ₹910.08 crore including GST.
The scope includes construction of three diversion tunnels, development of inlet and outlet portals, construction of approximately six kilometres of access roads, installation of hydro‑mechanical gates and instrumentation works.
The project is expected to be executed within 30 months.
The company clarified that its promoters do not have any interest in the awarding entity.
