Olectra Greentech Limited will supply 1,085 electric buses for intra‑city operations in Telangana after its associate EveyTrans Private Limited received Letters of Award from the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation.
The order includes 1,025 non‑AC buses and 60 AC buses under a Gross Cost Contract model for a period of 12 years.
EveyTrans will procure the buses from Olectra, which will manufacture and deliver them over 20 months and also undertake maintenance during the contract period.
The value of the bus supply contract for Olectra is estimated at approximately ₹1,800 crore.
The project is expected to strengthen the state’s electric public transport network and support cleaner mobility initiatives.
