Mumbai, May 8, 2026: Remsons Industries Limited has announced that its UK-based step-down subsidiary, Remsons Automotive Ltd., has secured a nomination from a global commercial vehicle original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for a 10-year pedal box programme.
The programme carries an estimated lifetime value of approximately ₹160 crore and is scheduled to commence production in the fourth quarter of calendar year 2028.
According to the company, the order represents a significant milestone for the Remsons Group as it strengthens its commercial vehicle order book and deepens its position as a Tier-1 supplier to global truck and bus manufacturers.
A pedal box is a safety-critical structural assembly integrating brake and clutch pedals into a single mounted unit fitted to a vehicle’s bulkhead. The company said the award followed an extensive technical evaluation and competitive sourcing process, where Remsons was assessed on engineering capabilities, manufacturing readiness, quality systems, programme management and overall lifecycle cost competitiveness.
Davinder Bains described the nomination as a landmark achievement for the group, highlighting the engineering and manufacturing capabilities built across its India and UK operations.
The company stated that the programme will involve tooling, validation and capacity planning activities across both its Indian and UK facilities over the coming quarters before scaling up to full production volumes.
The order also marks a strategic move by the company up the automotive value chain, from supplying individual components to integrated safety-critical sub-assemblies.
Remsons Industries Limited manufactures automotive products including mechanical control cables, gear shifters, pedal assemblies, sensors and lighting systems for passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, two-wheelers and off-highway applications.
