Vishnu Chemicals Restarts Production At Andhra Plants

Vishnu Chemicals Limited informed the exchange regarding the temporary disruption of operations at their plants in Vizag and Srikalahasti, Andhra Pradesh, due to Cyclone Michaung. The company now reports that the impact of the cyclone has been effectively neutralized, and operations at the affected plants have smoothly resumed.

Although there was no significant damage to equipment or materials, the company did experience a loss in production time, which is currently being addressed through the restoration of operations. To achieve this, Vishnu Chemicals has implemented a series of strategic steps to expedite the return to normalcy.

These measures include a thorough safety assessment, with a primary focus on ensuring the safety of both the plant facilities and employees. Immediate repairs to damaged infrastructure and equipment have been initiated to enable the resumption of continuous processing. Additionally, steps have been taken to safeguard the inventory of both raw materials and finished goods, and collaborative efforts with suppliers are underway to secure and replace critical raw materials.
