Tiger Logistics Partners with Russia’s H2 Invest to Develop Liquid Hydrogen Transport and Storage Infrastructure in India

Tiger Logistics (India) Limited, one of India’s leading integrated international logistics companies, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Russia-based H2 Invest LLC, a specialist in hydrogen technologies, to collaborate on building India’s transport and storage infrastructure for liquid hydrogen. The partnership marks a first-of-its-kind collaboration between an Indian logistics firm and an international hydrogen technology company, paving the way for the creation of a robust hydrogen supply chain ecosystem in India.

Under the MoU, the two companies will jointly develop and introduce cryogenic tanks and containers for the safe storage and transportation of liquid hydrogen. The initiative will integrate H2 Invest’s proprietary CryoSafe container technology into India’s growing hydrogen value chain, supporting both industrial and clean-energy applications.

The proposed joint venture envisions multimodal transport solutions—covering truck, rail, and maritime logistics—to enable the efficient movement of liquid hydrogen across India and international corridors. It also includes provisions for technology transfer, local manufacturing, and the joint execution of large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects in the emerging hydrogen sector.

“Hydrogen is the energy of the future, and its safe and efficient transportation will be key to realizing India’s clean energy ambitions,” said Mr. Harpreet Singh Malhotra, Chairman & Managing Director, Tiger Logistics (India) Limited. “Our collaboration with H2 Invest combines global hydrogen technology expertise with Indian logistics strength to deliver scalable and sustainable solutions for the sector.”

The partnership aligns closely with the Government of India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission, which aims to establish India as a global hub for green hydrogen production, utilization, and export. As the country accelerates its clean-energy transition, the development of specialized logistics and storage capabilities will be critical to ensuring hydrogen’s commercial viability.

Through this joint initiative, Tiger Logistics and H2 Invest intend to create a technology and manufacturing platform dedicated to hydrogen logistics—supporting the design, production, and deployment of cryogenic tanks and storage systems for both domestic and global markets.
