Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited has announced that it has received a major domestic order worth ₹357.11 crore from the JSW Group, further strengthening its order book in the rail freight segment.
The contract involves the manufacture and supply of BLSS (Bogie Low Sided Steel), BLCS (Bogie Low Container Steel) and BFNV rakes, along with BVCM wagons. These wagons are primarily used for efficient freight transportation, particularly in containerized and bulk cargo logistics.
According to the company’s regulatory filing under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the order is to be executed over a period of 11 months from the effective date or commencement of work.
The order has been awarded by a domestic entity, and the company clarified that there is no promoter or group company interest in the awarding entity. Additionally, the transaction does not fall under related party transactions.
This contract win highlights Texmaco Rail’s continued momentum in securing large-scale wagon manufacturing orders and reinforces its position as a key supplier to major industrial groups in India.
