Sunlite Recycling Boosts Copper Wire Rod Capacity by 40% at Kheda Plant

Sunlite Recycling Industries Ltd has announced the successful completion of a major capacity enhancement at its Copper Wire Rod Plant in Kheda, Gujarat. The upgraded facility will become operational on August 21, 2025, enabling the company to significantly expand its production capabilities and strengthen its product portfolio.

 

The expansion increases the plant’s copper wire rod capacity from 16,580 MTPA to 23,212 MTPA, marking a 40% rise. Copper Wire Rod is the company’s primary raw material for value-added offerings, including specialized products such as Annealed Tin-Coated Copper.
