Srivasavi Adhesive Tapes Limited announced that it has commenced commercial production at its new Unit 5 (Polymer Division), located in Sompura Industrial Area, Nelamangala, Bengaluru Rural, Karnataka. The new facility became operational with effect from November 3, 2025, marking a major milestone in the company’s ongoing expansion and diversification strategy.
Developed with an estimated project cost of ₹10 crore (₹1,000 lakhs), the Polymer Division is designed to manufacture high-quality polymer-based materials that serve as essential inputs for adhesive tape and packaging applications. The facility is equipped with advanced machinery to produce:
- HDPE and PP fabric rolls
- Polymer film rolls (extruded and laminated)
- Base materials for adhesive tape coating
- Laminated polymer films for automotive and packaging applications
Production Capacity and Growth Impact
With an installed production capacity of approximately 6,000 tons per annum, the new Polymer Division is expected to generate additional revenue of around ₹60 crore annually.
