Shree Pushkar Chemicals & Fertilisers Announces ₹350-Crore Expansion at Meghnagar Unit; Strengthens Renewable Energy Portfolio

Shree Pushkar Chemicals & Fertilisers Limited has announced a major expansion of its manufacturing capabilities with the approval of a new project at its Meghnagar Unit 8. The company will add 3.0 lakh MTPA of capacity dedicated to its Fertiliser division, marking another significant step in its long-term growth strategy.

This new facility, planned with an investment outlay of ₹350 crore, is expected to be commissioned by FY28. The expansion will be funded through a combination of internal accruals and preferential allotment, in line with the financing structure of the two ongoing capacity enhancement projects at the company’s Ratnagiri Units 5 and 6.

The company also highlighted substantial progress in its renewable energy initiatives. Shree Pushkar Chemicals & Fertilisers currently operates a 9.5 MWDC solar plant and is in the process of adding two more installations. Once completed, the total solar capacity will increase to 20.6 MWDC.

The expansion of renewable energy assets is aimed at improving energy self-reliance, reducing carbon emissions, and reinforcing the company’s long-term environmental sustainability commitments. Combined with the new manufacturing capacities, these initiatives underscore Shree Pushkar Chemicals & Fertilisers’ strategic focus on efficiency, scalability, and responsible growth.
