Shivam Pipes Wins ₹31.5 Crore Orders from Power Utilities and BSNL

Guwahati, April 23, 2026: Shivam Pipes, a 51% subsidiary of KD Green Industries Limited (formerly Manbro Industries Limited), has secured new orders worth approximately ₹31.5 crore for the supply of galvanized steel tubular poles to electricity boards in North East India and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).

According to the company, the order book includes ₹16.15 crore from various state electricity boards in the North Eastern region and ₹15.35 crore from BSNL. These contracts were awarded between January 1 and March 31, 2026, with execution timelines ranging from one to four months, indicating strong near-term revenue visibility.

The orders have been routed through contractors involved in power distribution and telecom infrastructure projects for government utilities and agencies. Shivam Pipes is already an approved vendor for multiple electricity utilities across the region and is also empanelled with BSNL for supplying its galvanized steel tubular poles under the ‘XTech’ brand.

Rising Demand in North East Infrastructure

The company highlighted growing opportunities in the North Eastern region, driven by increasing government investment in both power and telecom infrastructure. In the power sector, ongoing initiatives in transmission and distribution, coupled with rural electrification programs and renewable energy development, are boosting demand. Meanwhile, in telecom infrastructure, a shift from underground to overhead fibre deployment—due to difficult terrain, high rainfall, and maintenance challenges—is creating a new demand segment for galvanized steel poles. This transition is expected to significantly increase the need for durable overhead infrastructure, positioning manufacturers like Shivam Pipes to benefit from the trend.

Management Commentary

Commenting on the development, the company said the orders reinforce its positioning with key utilities and telecom players. “Our empanelment with electricity boards and BSNL strengthens our growth prospects in both power and telecom infrastructure. With continued focus on electrification and digital connectivity, demand for galvanized steel tubular poles is expected to remain robust,” the management stated.
