Sadhav Shipping Limited Wins ₹17.5 Crore Seven-Year Contract from Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority

Mumbai, May 13, 2026: Sadhav Shipping Limited has secured a seven-year contract worth ₹17.5 crore from Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) for the deployment of two FRP Pilot Cum Security Boats at India’s largest container port.

The company said it received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) on May 12, 2026, for the supply of two newly built FRP pilot cum security boats on a long-term time charter basis to support marine and port operations at JNPA.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sadhav Shipping will deploy and operate the vessels for a period of seven years from the commencement of services. The contract will be executed on a daily charter basis.

The company described the order as a significant milestone that strengthens its position in specialized port craft operations and marine support services. JNPA handles over 60% of India’s containerized cargo traffic and is regarded as a key hub in the country’s maritime trade infrastructure.

The contract is expected to enhance Sadhav Shipping’s long-term revenue visibility while expanding its presence across strategically important maritime hubs in India.

Commenting on the development, Vedant K. Choudhury said the mandate from JNPA reflects the confidence of India’s port authorities in the company’s operational capabilities, vessels, and service standards. He added that the contract strengthens the company’s annuity revenue base and deepens its footprint in critical maritime infrastructure operations.

Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority, located near Mumbai, is India’s busiest container port and plays a central role in the country’s international trade and logistics network.
