Rashi Peripherals to acquire 67% stake in VDA Infosolutions for ₹368 crore, expands into enterprise technology solutions

Mumbai, June 23: Rashi Peripherals Ltd (RP Tech), one of India’s largest ICT distributors, has signed a binding agreement to acquire a 67% stake in enterprise technology and digital infrastructure solutions provider VDA Infosolutions for ₹368 crore, marking its entry into higher-value enterprise technology services. The transaction values VDA Infosolutions at ₹550 crore. The Mumbai-based company reported revenue of around ₹850 crore in FY26.

 

The acquisition marks a strategic shift for the listed technology distributor as it looks to evolve from a pure-play ICT distribution company into an integrated enterprise technology solutions and services provider amid rising investments in artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, cybersecurity and digital infrastructure.

 

Rashi Peripherals, which posted FY26 revenue of ₹15,800 crore, said the acquisition would enable it to offer customers end-to-end enterprise technology capabilities, spanning product distribution, solution design, deployment and managed services. The company currently operates through a nationwide network of 56 branches, 50 service centres and 71 warehouses, serving more than 10,300 channel partners.

 

Strengthening enterprise technology presence

Founded in 2010, VDA Infosolutions specialises in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, data protection, virtualization, storage and IT consulting services. The company also offers DevOps, infrastructure management and digital transformation services.

 

VDA has a workforce of more than 1,000 professionals deployed across over 140 service locations nationwide, with operations in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad.

 

The company is an authorised partner for several global technology companies, including IBM, Dell Technologies, Broadcom, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Red Hat, Nutanix, Check Point, Commvault, Cohesity and Hitachi Vantara.

 

Rashi Peripherals said the acquisition would allow it to capitalise on growing enterprise demand for cloud infrastructure, AI-enabled IT environments, advanced data centres, cybersecurity solutions and hybrid IT managed services.
