Ahmedabad, June 8: Nanta Tech Ltd has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Connplex Cinemas for a long-term Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) engagement involving the deployment of 100 Allbotix AT10 marketing and delivery robots across the cinema chain’s network.
According to the company, the proposed three-year engagement carries an indicative contract value of ₹14.4 crore, excluding GST, and is expected to provide recurring revenue visibility through a subscription-based service model.
Under the arrangement, Nanta Tech will manufacture, supply, deploy and operate the robots, while retaining ownership of the hardware, embedded software, artificial intelligence models and intellectual property. Connplex Cinemas will access the robots through service subscriptions rather than purchasing the units outright.
The deployment is proposed to take place in ten phases, with batches of 10 robots each scheduled to be rolled out beginning June 2026. The company said each robot will attract a monthly subscription fee of ₹40,000, with the agreement running for 36 months from the commissioning of each unit.
At full deployment, the engagement is expected to generate a monthly run rate of about ₹40 lakh. Payments will be made quarterly in advance, with Connplex required to pay three months’ subscription fees for all deployed robots at the beginning of each calendar quarter.
Nanta Tech clarified that the deployment timeline remains indicative and that final commercial terms and schedules will be incorporated in the definitive master service agreement and purchase orders.
Commenting on the development, Mayank Jani, Managing Director of Nanta Tech, said the agreement represented an important milestone in the commercialisation of the company’s Allbotix platform.
“This engagement validates the scalability of our service robotics platform in high-footfall environments and strengthens our recurring revenue base. We look forward to executing the definitive agreements and commencing the first phase of deployment,” Jani said.
Incorporated in 2023, Ahmedabad-based Nanta Tech operates in the audio-visual integration and robotics segments. Through its Allbotix brand, the company develops service robots for applications such as delivery, cleaning, greeting and logistics, supported by in-house software and artificial intelligence capabilities.
The proposed deal reflects growing adoption of subscription-based robotics solutions in customer-facing industries and could help Nanta Tech expand its footprint in India’s emerging service robotics market.
