Jindal Poly Films Commissions Capacity Expansion at Nashik Plant

Jindal Poly Films Ltd has successfully commissioned the capacity expansion project at its Global Non-Woven Division at Nashik Plant from existing 36000 MT to 58000 MT.  The 60% hike in production will help the company increase its output.

From being only a polyester yarn producer in 1985, JPFL diversified in 1996 into BOPET film production. In 2003, JPFL commenced production of BOPP film and metallised film. JPFL capabilities were strengthened by acquisition in November 2003 of Rexor S.A.S, in France, which produces metallised and coated films as well as tear tape, stamping foil, security thread and other high-value products.

The manufacturing plant at Nasik, Maharashtra is the world’s largest facility for the production of BOPET and BOPP films.
