Greenleaf Envirotech bags ₹4.16 crore sewerage project from Odisha’s WATCO

Mumbai, July 11: Greenleaf Envirotech Ltd has secured a ₹4.16 crore contract from the Water Corporation of Odisha (WATCO) for the construction of sewerage infrastructure, strengthening its order book in the water and wastewater treatment segment.

The company received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from WATCO for the project, which is valued at ₹4.16 crore, excluding GST, Greenleaf said in a regulatory filing.

The scope of work includes the design, engineering, construction, testing and commissioning of a sewerage system, sewage treatment plant (STP) and effluent treatment plant (ETP). The contract also includes operation and maintenance (O&M) of the facilities after commissioning.

The project is scheduled to be executed over a period of 12 months.

The contract was awarded through a competitive bidding process and requires Greenleaf Envirotech to execute the agreement and furnish the prescribed performance security in accordance with the tender conditions.

The order adds to the company’s portfolio in the water infrastructure sector, where investments in sewage treatment and wastewater management have accelerated under urban infrastructure and environmental improvement programmes.

Greenleaf Envirotech said the project is expected to strengthen its order book, improve revenue visibility and support long-term business growth by expanding its presence in the municipal water and wastewater treatment segment.
