New Delhi, June 20: Material handling equipment manufacturer Cranex Ltd has secured fresh orders worth ₹18.52 crore for the manufacture and supply of electric overhead travelling (EOT) cranes and related products, taking its total order book beyond ₹100 crore. According to a regulatory filing, the new orders have been received from Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) and Indian Railways for workshop infrastructure projects.
The largest order, valued at ₹8.48 crore, has been awarded by BHEL-MAHAGENCO Koradi for the supply of two double-girder EOT cranes of more than 100-tonne capacity for the 2×660 MW Koradi Thermal Power Project. The order is scheduled for execution by August 12, 2027.
Cranex has also received a ₹8.14-crore purchase order from BHEL-Yamunanagar for supplying two double-girder EOT cranes of over 100-tonne capacity for the 1×800 MW Yamunanagar Thermal Power Project, with completion targeted by August 12, 2027.
In addition, the company secured an order worth ₹1.11 crore from Banaras Locomotive Works, Indian Railways, for supplying two 5-tonne EOT cranes, to be executed by June 20, 2027.
Another order valued at approximately ₹80 lakh has been received from Eastern Railway’s Kanchrapara Workshop for the supply of two 5-tonne EOT cranes, with delivery scheduled by March 20, 2027.
The company said its existing order book also includes contracts from BEML Ltd for railway projects, including the Vande Bharat programme, as well as orders for defence sector projects across India.
