Balu Forge Industries Ltd has signed a five‑year Memorandum of Understanding for the supply of large‑calibre ammunition shells to a NATO‑affiliated entity.
The agreement includes supply of 30,000 units per month of 155 mm M107 shells and 10,000 units per month of 152 mm shells in ready‑to‑fill condition.
Both variants are priced at $315 per unit on an FOB Nhava Sheva basis and indexed to the London Metal Exchange.
Based on agreed volumes, the potential contract value could exceed $150 million (around ₹1,250 crore) over the five‑year tenure.
Serial supplies are expected to begin from April 2026 from the company’s Belgaum manufacturing facility.
