Australian Premium Solar Begins Commercial Production at New 400 MW TopCon Module Facility in Gujarat

Australian Premium Solar (India) Limited (APS), a leading indigenous solar solutions provider, has commenced commercial production at its newly established 400 MW TopCon solar module manufacturing line in Sabarkantha, Gujarat. The launch follows successful trial runs and marks a major capacity expansion milestone for the company, doubling its total module production capability to 800 MW.

The new manufacturing line features advanced high-efficiency equipment and positions APS among the select fully integrated domestic producers capable of delivering next-generation TopCon solar technology at scale. This development strengthens the company’s competitive edge in both the Indian and export renewable energy markets.

This commissioning represents the first phase of APS’s strategic growth plan. A second 400 MW line is expected to be operational by April 2026, further expanding the company’s manufacturing footprint. The enhanced capacity will support rising demand across utility-scale solar farms as well as rooftop and distributed solar installations.

Commenting on the milestone, Mr. Nikunjkumar Chimanlal Patel, Chairman & Executive Director of APS, said,

“The commencement of our 400 MW TopCon line marks a pivotal moment in our expansion journey. With this addition, APS strengthens its commitment to the ‘Make in India’ initiative and accelerates its transition into one of the country’s few large-scale TopCon module manufacturers. The new capacity will bolster our ability to meet increasing renewable energy demand and support our 75% CAGR revenue growth outlook.”

Mr. Patel further emphasized the company’s continued focus on innovation, operational excellence, and strengthening India’s solar manufacturing ecosystem. APS aims to support the nation’s accelerating clean-energy transition by supplying high-performance, domestically manufactured solar modules for both national and global projects.
