Asian Energy Services Limited (AESL), a leading integrated energy and mining services provider, has announced that it has secured a prestigious ₹459 crore contract (inclusive of GST and BOCW Cess) from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) for the design, supply, erection, commissioning, and operation of a Coal Handling Plant (CHP) in Odisha. The project, to be executed in joint venture with a partner, marks the largest-ever CHP order in AESL’s history and will be completed over a seven-year period.
The scope of work includes Pre-Engineered Turnkey Execution, encompassing Design, Supply, Erection, Commissioning, Trial Run, Testing, and Operations & Maintenance during the Defect Liability Period (DLP). This strategic project underscores AESL’s expanding footprint in India’s energy infrastructure and its growing leadership in the coal and mining services sector.
