AiroLam Expands Production and Solar Capacity to Strengthen Market Position

AiroLam Limited, a leading manufacturer of high-quality decorative laminate sheets, has announced significant expansions in both its production capacity and renewable energy infrastructure. The strategic move reflects the company’s commitment to meeting growing market demands while enhancing sustainability and operational efficiency.

Production Capacity Expansion AiroLam has successfully completed the expansion of its manufacturing facilities with the addition of a new laminate press machine and a hot water system. As a result, the company’s annual production capacity for decorative laminates has increased by 20,64,000 sheets. This expansion raises AiroLam’s total installed capacity from 38,40,000 sheets to an impressive 59,04,000 sheets per annum.
The company stated that the increased production will enable it to better serve its valued customers, address rising demand in the market, and maintain a competitive edge in the industry.

Solar Capacity Expansion

In line with its sustainability vision, AiroLam has also made significant progress in renewable energy adoption. The company has expanded its solar power capacity from 1 MW to 2.5 MW in the fiscal year 2023-24. This enhanced solar infrastructure is projected to generate approximately 375,000 units of electricity annually, which will cater to the energy requirements of AiroLam’s manufacturing operations.
With this expansion, the company has achieved a major milestone as nearly 100% of its electricity consumption will now be sourced from renewable energy. This step is expected to reduce AiroLam’s carbon footprint significantly while optimizing energy consumption and operational costs.
