Kashipur-based KVS Castings Ltd has secured an export-linked order worth approximately ₹8 crore for FY27 from SAMM Corporation, Delhi, for the manufacture and supply of railway parts to be used in the Russian Railways.
KVS Castings Ltd has received an order from SAMM Corporation, Delhi, a merchant exporter, for the manufacture and supply of railway components intended for use in the Russian Railways.
According to the company’s exchange filing dated August 7, 2026, the order is valued at approximately ₹8 crore for FY2026-27, with a further ₹12 crore order value expected for FY2027-28.
Although the order has been awarded by an Indian entity, SAMM Corporation will subsequently export the railway parts. The company said the order was received in the normal course of business and reflects customer confidence in its manufacturing capabilities and product quality.
The orders will involve the manufacture and supply of railway parts in accordance with the applicable general agreement conditions. The contracts provide for inspection by the designated inspection agency, where required, payments according to agreed contractual terms, applicable warranties and immediate or phased deliveries depending on individual purchase orders.
Execution of the orders is scheduled to begin with immediate deliveries, with phased supplies commencing from August 2026 onwards.
KVS Castings, formerly known as KVS Castings Private Limited, is based in Kashipur and manufactures castings and components, including products for the railway sector. The latest order provides the company with additional business visibility over the current and next financial year, while expanding the overseas end-use market for its railway products.
The order comes as Indian manufacturers continue to participate in global railway supply chains through domestic exporters and component suppliers.
