Kolkata: Jayesh Logistics Ltd has secured a transportation contract worth ₹11.2 crore from Dalmia Cement (North East) Ltd to handle the movement of cement, clinker, fly ash, coal and other raw materials across multiple destinations in Northeast India.
The contract, awarded for the financial year 2026-27, covers end-to-end logistics services from Dalmia Cement’s manufacturing facility at Lanka in Assam’s Nagaon district, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Under the agreement, Jayesh Logistics will act as an authorised transporter for the movement of cement, clinker, fly ash, coal and other raw materials from the Lanka manufacturing and grinding unit to various destinations for stock transfers as well as trade and non-trade sales.
The contract will run from July 15, 2026, to October 31, 2027.
Besides transportation, the scope of work includes deployment of vehicles and manpower, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and timely delivery of materials. Payments will be based on the actual tonnage transported in accordance with Dalmia Cement’s billing cycles.
The order reinforces Jayesh Logistics’ presence in the industrial logistics segment, particularly in Northeast India, where demand for efficient transportation services is supported by ongoing infrastructure development and industrial activity.
