Mumbai: Srivasavi Adhesive Tapes Limited has entered into a five-year purchasing agreement with a global multinational company (MNC) to manufacture and supply polypropylene (PP), high-density polyethylene (HDPE) woven fabrics and related products, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The agreement, which became effective on July 1, 2026, will remain valid until June 30, 2031, with an option for renewal on mutually agreed terms. Under the arrangement, Srivasavi’s Polymer Division (Unit 5) at Sompura Industrial Area, Nelamangala, Bengaluru Rural, will manufacture woven fabrics across multiple categories, including non-VCI, VCI, laminated and printed variants, in accordance with the customer’s technical specifications.
The company has projected indicative annual volumes of around 2,500 metric tonnes (MT) in the first year of the agreement, increasing to approximately 3,200 MT in the second year and about 3,900 MT in the third year. It clarified that these projections are non-binding and actual supplies will depend on purchase orders issued by the customer.
The agreement also lays down quality assurance, packing, storage and logistics protocols, along with payment terms aligned with MSME facilitation norms.
Commenting on the development, Anil Kumar DN, Managing Director of Srivasavi Adhesive Tapes, said the agreement reflects the confidence of global packaging companies in the firm’s manufacturing capabilities and strengthens order visibility over a multi-year period. He added that the partnership supports the company’s strategy of expanding its polymer business alongside its core adhesive tapes operations.
