Simplex Castings Limited has announced that it has secured a trial order from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Varanasi, for the supply of key fabricated and machined assemblies for an 803 HP Mill.
The order, valued at approximately ₹7.26 crore, further strengthens the long-standing relationship between the two companies in the power and heavy engineering sector.
The scope of the contract includes manufacturing and supply of critical components such as Mill Side and Liner Assembly, Separator Body Assembly, and Separator Top for the 803 HP Mill. These components will be fabricated and machined in accordance with BHEL’s technical drawings and specifications. The order comprises 10 units of each component, with a total purchase order value of ₹7.25 crore.
Commenting on the development, Ketan Shah, Promoter, Chairman, and Executive Director of the company, stated that the order reflects BHEL’s continued confidence in Simplex Castings’ manufacturing capabilities and product quality. He added that the company views this engagement as a stepping stone toward a larger and more enduring partnership.
The company also highlighted that it is currently in advanced discussions with several domestic and international clients, many of whom have recently visited its manufacturing facilities in Chhattisgarh. These engagements are expected to translate into significant order inflows in the near to medium term.
