Pricol Limited has announced the acquisition of Sundaram Auto Components Limited (SACL)’s Injection Moulding business. This strategic move, executed through Pricol’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Pricol Precision Products Private Limited, strengthens Pricol’s position in the automotive sector and adds an impressive INR 730 crore to its consolidated topline. Headquartered in Coimbatore, Pricol Limited is a leading supplier to prominent automotive OEMs worldwide.
The debt-free transaction, valued at INR 215.3 crore, is structured as an all-cash deal, with provisions for adjustments at closing. The acquisition reflects Pricol’s focus on expanding its portfolio into allied verticals, further diversifying its offerings in the automotive sector.
Established in 1992 and part of the TVS Motor Company, SACL has earned a reputation for its innovative polymer solutions and state-of-the-art injection moulding expertise. The company operates six advanced manufacturing facilities across India.
The integration of SACL’s business with Pricol presents a significant opportunity for scaling operations and creating a new independent business vertical focused on injection moulding. Pricol aims to combine its own capabilities with SACL’s expertise to expand its product offerings, customer base, and operational efficiencies.
