Sealmatic India Ltd (BSE: 543782), a leading manufacturer of mechanical seals and API vessels, has inaugurated its cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Kaman-Vasai. The 25,000 sq ft unit represents a significant milestone for the company, boosting its production capacity by 65% over the existing Mira Road facility.
This expansion, detailed in the company’s prospectus, involved a capital investment of ₹6.80 crore. The new facility became fully operational on November 26, 2024, and adds a production capacity of 1,050 units per month. The Mira Road plant will continue to produce 2,100 units monthly.
Enhanced Production
Equipped with advanced CNC machinery and integrated automated systems, the Kaman facility is poised to manufacture complex mechanical seals and fabricate API vessels, ensuring streamlined production processes. Mr. Sadique Chaudhary, Director of Production with over three decades of expertise, oversaw the recruitment of skilled professionals and the seamless setup of operations.
