The open offer for Unichem Laboratories opened on 28th August 2023 and closed on 8th September 2023. The offer price per share is fixed at Rs 440, while the offered size is Rs 805.44 crore. Arihant Capital Markets is the manager of the offer.
On Sept 21 , Ipca Laboratories on Thursday announced that it has acquired an additional 19.29 per cent stake in Unichem Laboratories through an open offer for Rs 597.5 crore, taking its shareholding to 52.67 per cent. Unichem Labs is now a subsidiary of Ipca. Ipca said that it paid Rs 440 per equity share in the open offer.
In April, Ipca Laboratories had acquired 33.38 percent shares of Unichem Laboratories for ₹945 crore. Ipca said the acquisition would help bolster exports.
