WPIL Limited announced that its South African subsidiary has secured a major contract from METSI KE MATLA JV for the MCWAP2 Project of the Trans Caledon Tunnel Authority (TCTA) in South Africa. The contract, valued at 821 million South African Rand (approximately ₹426 crore), covers comprehensive electro-mechanical and instrumentation works.
According to the company, the project is scheduled to be commissioned within 48 months. WPIL confirmed that the award does not fall under related-party transactions. The win further strengthens WPIL’s presence in international water infrastructure and engineering markets, reinforcing its position as a key solutions provider to large-scale water transmission and treatment projects globally.
