In a major boost to its international operations, Welspun Corp Limited has announced the receipt of two significant orders in the United States for the supply of coated pipes for natural gas pipeline projects. These orders include supplies for both Helical Submerged Arc Welded (HSAW) and High-Frequency Induction Welded (HFIW) pipes.
The cumulative value of orders received by Welspun’s USA plant for Q3 FY25 has now crossed a remarkable ₹7,000 crore, marking a key milestone for the company in the global oil and gas (O&G) transmission sector. The execution of these orders will span across FY25 and FY26.
Market Leadership in the USA
Welspun Corp reaffirmed its position as a market leader in the USA’s oil and gas transmission space, with these orders further solidifying its dominant share. Commenting on the development, the company expressed optimism about the positive outlook for the USA market over the next couple of years.
“Welspun remains fully poised to capitalize on more opportunities in the near future, as demand for energy infrastructure, including natural gas pipelines, continues to grow,” the company stated.
Strong Q3 Order Pipeline
This announcement follows Welspun’s earlier updates on October 1, 2024, and November 4, 2024, regarding its USA operations. The steady flow of large-scale orders highlights the company’s robust pipeline and its capability to execute complex projects in the energy infrastructure space.
Strategic Impact
Welspun Corp’s focus on high-quality, technologically advanced coated pipes positions it as a preferred supplier for large-scale natural gas projects. These wins not only bolster its revenue outlook for FY25 and FY26 but also reflect its competitive edge in international markets.
With its USA operations achieving such significant milestones, Welspun Corp is set to strengthen its presence in the global energy sector, particularly in oil and gas infrastructure, ensuring continued growth and market leadership.
