SEPC-Led Joint Venture Secures ₹86 Crore Aviation Infrastructure Project at Bihta Airport, Patna

SEPC Limited (NSE: SEPC; BSE: 532945) has announced that its joint venture with Furlong has received a Letter of Award (LoA) worth ₹86 crore for the development of a new civil enclave at Bihta Airport in Patna, Bihar.

The contract has been awarded by JSC IA Vozrozhdenie India Private Limited and covers end-to-end EPC execution for key airport infrastructure works. The scope of the project includes construction of a new integrated terminal building, a utility building and associated structures, an elevated road, electro-mechanical works, and the installation of airport, IT, and security systems. The project also includes comprehensive maintenance and operational support.

The order strengthens SEPC’s EPC order book and reinforces its presence in India’s aviation infrastructure segment. The company said the win marks another milestone in its expanding portfolio of transportation and aviation-related projects, complementing its existing operations across water and municipal services, roads, industrial infrastructure, and mining.

SEPC added that the Bihta Airport project aligns with its broader strategy of expanding into large-scale and complex EPC domains. The company has been steadily building its project footprint across India and select international markets through recent wins in water management, mobility infrastructure, industrial EPC, and mining.

Commenting on the development, Venkataramani Jaiganesh, Managing Director of SEPC Limited, said the project is a strategically important addition to the company’s aviation infrastructure portfolio. He noted that SEPC remains focused on delivering technically sound, compliant, and operationally sustainable infrastructure, with strong emphasis on quality, safety, and timely execution.

With this order, SEPC continues to strengthen its position in India’s infrastructure ecosystem while expanding its capabilities in high-value EPC projects.
