Senores Pharmaceuticals Limited (SPL) has officially inaugurated its greenfield Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) facility in Rajpur, Kadi, Mehsana, Gujarat. The new plant, spanning 230,000 sq. ft., has an installed capacity of approximately 100 metric tons per annum, significantly enhancing the company’s API manufacturing capabilities.
This marks Senores’ second API manufacturing unit, reinforcing its commitment to expanding production capacity and catering to the growing demand in regulated markets and the CDMO/CMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) segment.
Speaking at the inauguration, Swapnil Shah, Managing Director of Senores Pharmaceuticals Limited, expressed his enthusiasm about the new venture. “We are delighted to commence operations at our state-of-the-art API facility in Mehsana. The commissioning of this plant will allow Senores to broaden its offerings and strengthen its competitiveness, particularly in the regulated markets. This expansion is a crucial step in our journey to enhance our footprint in the CDMO/CMO business and drive long-term growth.”
