RPP Infra Projects Secures ₹52.17 Crore Flood Mitigation Contract for Sports City in Chennai

RPP Infra Projects Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance from the Water Resources Department, Tamil Nadu for flood mitigation works related to the upcoming Global Sports City project at Semmancheri in Chennai.

 

The contract, valued at ₹52.17 crore, involves critical infrastructure development aimed at strengthening flood management systems in the project area. The scope of work includes the formation of new water tanks, construction of peripheral earthen drains, development of cut-and-cover channels, and capacity enhancement of surrounding tanks to improve water flow and storage.

 

The project has been awarded by the Superintending Engineer, Palar Basin Circle, Chepauk, and is classified as a domestic government contract. The company is expected to complete the project within 12 months.
 

This order marks another addition to RPP Infra Projects’ portfolio in water resource management and urban infrastructure, highlighting its expertise in executing flood mitigation and irrigation-related projects.
