RMC Switchgears Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) valued at ₹42.24 crore from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (RRVPNL) for the construction of a new 132 kV grid substation (GSS) at Kalyanpur (Pachpadra) in Balotra district, Rajasthan.
The contract covers the end-to-end execution of the project, including the supply of all equipment and materials, erection and civil works, as well as testing and commissioning of the substation, along with associated transmission lines and bays. The works will be carried out on a Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning (ETC) basis under tender reference BN-9016002514.
Awarded by a domestic utility, the project is to be completed within a period of 18 months, the company said in a regulatory filing made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
RMC Switchgears stated that the new order strengthens its presence in the power transmission and distribution segment and reflects continued demand for its integrated substation execution capabilities.
