Refex Industries Limited (RIL), a diversified enterprise with interests spanning refrigerant gases, power trading, and coal handling, announced that it has secured a major contract worth ₹300 crore from a large mining entity in Jharkhand.
The contract involves the removal of overburden (OB), excavation, and transportation of coal at one of the client’s mining sites in the state. The project, awarded by a domestic mining company, is set to be executed over a period of eight months, with a potential extension of up to four years, indicating a long-term engagement.
This order reinforces Refex Industries’ growing footprint in the coal handling and mining services segment, a vertical the company has been steadily expanding alongside its established operations in clean energy and environmental services.
