R R Kabel Limited, one of India’s leading wires and cables manufacturers, has announced major expansion plans at its manufacturing facilities in Waghodia, Gujarat, and Silvassa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. The company will invest approximately ₹1,450 crore to significantly scale up production capacity in response to rising demand across domestic and international markets.
Expansion at Waghodia, Vadodara (Gujarat)
At its existing Waghodia facility, R R Kabel plans to enhance its production capacity by 36,000 metric tonnes (MT) per annum, adding to its current capacity of 67,200 MT for wires and cables. The plant is currently operating at around 79% capacity utilisation. The expansion will be executed in a phased manner and is expected to be completed by March 2028.

Expansion at Silvassa Unit
In addition to Waghodia, R R Kabel is also ramping up capacity at its upcoming new unit in Silvassa, located near its existing site. The first phase of this plant, with a capacity of 12,000 MT per annum, is currently under development and is scheduled to be operational by March 2026. A further 6,000 MT will be added in a second phase, with completion targeted by December 2026.
