Power Mech Projects Secures Over ₹1,000 Crore Orders

Power Mech Projects Limited has secured major contracts worth more than ₹1,000 crore (excluding GST and applicable taxes) from subsidiaries of Adani Power Limited, reinforcing its strong position in India’s thermal power infrastructure segment.

The orders have been awarded by Mirzapur Thermal Energy (UP) Private Limited and Mahan Energen Limited for critical erection, testing, and commissioning works at ultra supercritical thermal power projects.

Under the contracts, Power Mech Projects will execute erection, testing, commissioning, and manpower assistance for performance guarantee testing of Steam Generator (SG) and Steam Turbine Generator (STG) packages, along with associated auxiliaries.

The Mirzapur Thermal Energy project involves Unit 1 and Unit 2 of the 2×800 MW Mirzapur Phase-I Ultra Supercritical Thermal Power Project, with a contract value of ₹515 crore. Meanwhile, the contract from Mahan Energen relates to a similar scope of work for Unit 1 and Unit 2 of the 2×800 MW Mahan Phase-III Ultra Supercritical Thermal Power Project, valued at ₹490 crore. Both contracts are domestic in nature and are scheduled to be executed within 36 months from the erection start date, as specified in the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

These large-scale wins highlight Power Mech’s continued momentum in securing high-value power sector projects, particularly in ultra supercritical thermal power, which represents the next generation of efficient coal-based power plants. The contracts are expected to significantly strengthen the company’s order book and provide sustained revenue visibility over the next three years.
