Pace Digitek Secures ₹1,159 Crore Battery Energy Storage System Project from SECI

Pace Digitek Limited (formerly known as Pace Digitek Private Limited and Pace Digitek Infra Private Limited), a leading engineering and technology solutions provider, announced that it has secured a major turnkey order worth ₹1,159 crore (including GST) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI) for the design, supply, installation, and maintenance of a 600 MW / 1200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project.
 
The project will be executed on a turnkey basis and encompasses the design and engineering, supply of BESS DC blocks, and integration of critical components such as HVAC, fire protection systems, power conversion systems, battery management systems (BMS), and energy management systems (EMS). The scope further includes system testing, commissioning, and a 10-year comprehensive maintenance contract.
 
Under the project schedule, 50% of the awarded capacity will be supplied within 11 months and fully completed within 13 months from the effective date of the contract agreement. The commissioning and performance demonstration of the entire system will follow, with 100% completion expected within 16 months.
 
This prestigious order marks a significant milestone for Pace Digitek, strengthening its position in India’s rapidly expanding renewable energy and energy storage sector. The large-scale BESS project will play a critical role in enhancing grid stability, renewable energy integration, and power reliability as India accelerates its clean energy transition.
