Mukka Proteins JV Wins ₹475-Crore Legacy Leachate Treatment Contract in Bengaluru

Mukka Proteins Limited on Wednesday informed stock exchanges that its joint venture with Hardik Gowda and MS Jathin Infra Private Limited has secured a major work order worth ₹474.89 crore (excluding GST) from Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Limited (BSWML).

The contract, awarded on December 3, 2025, involves the treatment and disposal of legacy leachate accumulated at the Mittaganahalli and Kannur landfill sites in Bengaluru. The project is part of the city’s initiative to address long-standing environmental and waste management challenges.

In its disclosure under Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, Mukka Proteins said the order is domestic in nature and is to be executed over a period of four years or until the complete treatment and disposal of the legacy leachate at the landfill sites, whichever is earlier.

Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Limited is the authority awarding the contract. The company clarified that neither its promoter, promoter group nor group companies have any interest in BSWML, and the contract does not fall under related-party transactions.

Valued at ₹4,74,89,14,500, the order represents a significant addition to Mukka Proteins’ order book and marks its diversification into large-scale environmental infrastructure and waste management projects.
