Maharashtra Seamless Limited (MSL), a leading manufacturer of seamless and ERW pipes, has bagged a domestic order worth approximately ₹256 crore for the supply of seamless pipes to the oil and gas sector.
According to the company, the order involves gradual dispatches spread over the next two quarters, as per the customer’s requirements. The contract was awarded by a domestic entity and does not fall within the scope of related-party transactions.
The order strengthens MSL’s position in the energy sector, where seamless pipes play a critical role in exploration, drilling, and production activities. The company clarified that none of its promoters or group companies hold any interest in the awarding entity.
Founded in 1988, Maharashtra Seamless is part of the DP Jindal Group and is among India’s largest producers of seamless and ERW steel pipes. Over the years, the company has built a strong presence across oil and gas, power, and infrastructure sectors, catering to both domestic and international markets.
