Interarch to Invest ₹70 Crore in New Manufacturing Facility in Kheda, Gujarat

Interarch Building Solutions Limited (BSE: 544232 | NSE: INTERARCH), one of India’s leading players in pre-engineered steel buildings (PEB), has announced an investment of ₹70 crore to set up a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Kheda, Gujarat. The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for October 9, 2025, marking a major step in the company’s expansion strategy and reaffirming its long-term commitment to the state.

The new 12-acre facility will have an installed capacity of 40,000 metric tonnes (MT) in its first phase and is expected to create over 400 direct and indirect jobs in the region. Once operational, the Kheda plant will complete Interarch’s pan-India manufacturing presence, strengthening its ability to serve high-growth markets in Western and Central India. Strategically located near key ports, the plant will also support export operations, enhancing the company’s international footprint.

Designed as one of India’s most modern and fully synchronized PEB manufacturing units, the facility will set new benchmarks in efficiency, automation, and environmental sustainability. The investment aligns with Interarch’s plan to achieve a turnover of ₹2,400 crore by FY28, driven by increased capacity and rising demand across sectors such as renewable energy, electric vehicles (EVs), semiconductors, and data centres.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Manish Garg, CEO, Interarch Building Solutions Limited, said:

“The groundbreaking of our Gujarat facility is a significant milestone for Interarch. Gujarat, with its world-class infrastructure and strong industrial clusters in semiconductors, EVs, and allied sectors, offers the perfect ecosystem for our growth. This expansion will not only complete our pan-India presence but also enhance our capacity by 40,000 MT, enabling us to serve domestic and international markets more effectively. This investment reinforces our commitment to building the future in steel and contributing to India’s economic growth.”

Interarch already has a strong presence in Gujarat and is currently executing several major projects, including India’s first semiconductor fabrication plant in Sanand, a large tyre manufacturing facility in Bhuj, a complex manufacturing project in Bharuch, and a solar energy plant in Jamnagar. The company has also delivered high-profile projects for leading names such as Adani, Aditya Birla Group, Reliance Energy, BKT Tyres, Asian Paints, and MG Motors.

With its upcoming Kheda facility, Interarch aims to consolidate its leadership in India’s PEB sector by combining advanced design, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities with sustainable construction practices.
