INDO SMC Limited on Monday said it has received a purchase order worth ₹40.77 crore (₹4,077.40 lakh, excluding taxes) from Shree Balaji Com LLP for the supply of high-tension (HT) Air Insulated Bus Ducts for a large underground power distribution system.
The order involves the supply of 5,800 square metres of HT Air Insulated Bus Ducts rated for 650A, which are used for efficient and reliable high-voltage power transmission in demanding underground environments. These systems are widely deployed as an alternative to conventional power cables in infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects.
According to the company, the contract is a domestic commercial order and is scheduled to be executed within a period of 12 weeks, in line with the terms of the purchase order. INDO SMC said the order highlights its strong execution capabilities and long-standing customer relationships in the electrical infrastructure space. The company added that the project reinforces its position as a key supplier of specialised power distribution solutions in India’s growing urban and underground infrastructure market.
