Highway Infrastructure Limited has entered into a contract agreement with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the operation and collection of user fees at the Kaza Fee Plaza on the Chilakaluripet–Vijayawada section of National Highway-16 in Andhra Pradesh. The contract agreement was executed on January 8, 2026, following the earlier receipt of a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) on December 9, 2025. The fee plaza is located on the NH-16 stretch between Km 355.000 and Km 437.500, covering a total length of 82.5 km.
Under the agreement, Highway Infrastructure has been appointed as the user fee collection agency through a competitive e-tendering process. The scope of work includes toll operations as well as the upkeep and maintenance of adjacent toilet blocks, including replenishment of consumable items.
The company is scheduled to take over operations at the Kaza Fee Plaza on January 23, 2026. The contract has been awarded by NHAI, a domestic entity, for a period of one year.
The total value of the contract stands at ₹328.78 crore, marking a significant order win for Highway Infrastructure Limited in the toll operations segment.
