Force Motors Limited, a leading manufacturer of robust and reliable vehicles, has announced a significant order from the Indian Defence Forces for the supply of 2,978 Force Gurkha vehicles. This milestone deal underscores Force Motors’ continued commitment to bolstering India’s defence capabilities with its rugged and mission-ready General Service Vehicles.
The order was placed by the Directorate General of Capability Development (CD-13/14), General Staff Branch, Integrated Headquarters of the Ministry of Defence (Army), New Delhi. The vehicles will be delivered in multiple tranches over a maximum period of three years.
Strengthening Defence Capabilities
The Force Gurkha, renowned for its off-road capabilities and adaptability, has been tailored to meet the operational requirements of the Indian Army and Air Force. Engineered to perform in extreme conditions, the Gurkha offers superior ground clearance, the highest water-wading capacity in its class, and exceptional maneuverability, making it ideal for a variety of terrains, from deserts to mountainous regions.
