Effwa Infra Wins ₹313 Crore ZLD Project from JSW Steel’s Dolvi Plant

Mumbai: Effwa Infra & Research Limited has secured a major environmental infrastructure contract from JSW Steel Limited for the manufacture, supply, supervision, operation and maintenance of a Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) with Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) capability at JSW Steel’s Phase-III expansion in Dolvi, Maharashtra. The domestic contract is valued at ₹313.40 crore, excluding 18% GST, and is to be executed over a 20-month period, the company said in a regulatory disclosure.

 

Under the agreement, Effwa will deliver end-to-end services, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and long-term operation and maintenance of the ZLD facility. The project is aimed at ensuring full compliance with stringent environmental norms while supporting JSW Steel’s capacity expansion at the Dolvi complex.

 

Effwa clarified that neither its promoters nor promoter group entities have any interest in JSW Steel, and the contract does not fall under related-party transactions.
