Dilip Buildcon Limited (DBL), through its joint venture with RBL (DBL–RBL JV), has been declared the L-1 bidder for a major contract in the Gurugram Metro Project, valued at ₹1,503.63 crore including GST.
The tender, awarded by Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL), covers the construction of a viaduct and 14 elevated stations from Millennium City Centre to Sector 9, along with a 1.85 km spur to Dwarka Expressway, a ramp to the depot at Sector 33, and an underpass at Bhaktawar Chowk. The scope excludes pre-engineered building (PEB) and architectural finishing works for the Gurugram Metro Corridor between Millennium City Centre and Cyber City, spanning 26.65 km, as well as the spur from Basai Village to Dwarka Expressway. In total, the project will feature 27 stations over 15.22 km of construction.
The contract will be executed in an item-rate mode with a completion timeline of 30 months. DBL confirmed that neither its promoters nor promoter group hold any interest in GMRL, and the project does not fall under related-party transactions.
The Gurugram Metro Project is a key infrastructure initiative aimed at improving urban connectivity in Haryana, and winning the bid further strengthens DBL’s position in the metro and urban transport segment.
