Desco Infratech Limited has secured new purchase orders worth ₹40.43 crore from Sun Drops Energia Limited and KP Energy Limited, strengthening its presence in India’s solar and power infrastructure sectors.

The order from Sun Drops Energia Limited involves the execution of solar infrastructure works, while the contract from KP Energy Limited covers cable laying and excavation works in the state of Gujarat.

These contract wins mark a strategic expansion for Desco Infratech as it builds on its established expertise in the City Gas Distribution (CGD) segment and diversifies into renewable and power infrastructure. The company has previously executed projects involving underground steel pipelines, MDPE networks, and last-mile connectivity across multiple states.

Commenting on the development, Managing Director Malhar Pankaj Desai said the new orders represent a key milestone in the company’s evolution into a diversified energy infrastructure provider. He noted that Desco is leveraging its technical capabilities, trained workforce, and execution systems to expand into complementary sectors such as solar and power infrastructure.

Desco Infratech provides integrated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services across urban infrastructure, energy, oil and gas, and industrial utilities. The company is also actively involved in projects related to clean energy, hydrogen integration, and city gas distribution, positioning itself to capitalize on India’s growing focus on sustainable and future-ready infrastructure.

The newly secured contracts are expected to further strengthen Desco’s order book and support its long-term growth strategy in India’s expanding renewable energy and power infrastructure markets.
