Concord Control Systems Limited (BSE: CNCRD), a leading Indian manufacturer of embedded electronic systems and critical electronic solutions, has secured a major order worth ₹185.09 crore for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of KAVACH 4.0, India’s indigenous Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system.
The order has been awarded by Indian Railways through Progota India Private Limited, an associate company of Concord Control Systems, and is expected to be executed over the next 12 months.
KAVACH 4.0 is designed to significantly enhance railway safety by preventing collisions, over-speeding, and signal passing at danger. The latest version incorporates advanced digital technologies aimed at improving operational efficiency and passenger safety across the national railway network.
Commenting on the order win, Gaurav Lath, Joint Managing Director of Concord Control Systems, said the project validates the company’s technological expertise, execution capabilities, and long-standing partnership with Indian Railways. He added that KAVACH 4.0 represents a major step towards building a safer and more reliable rail ecosystem in line with the government’s modernization agenda.
Nitin Jain, Joint Managing Director, also highlighted that the order reflects strong confidence in Concord’s capabilities and reinforces its position as a trusted partner in India’s railway safety transformation.
