AXISCADES Secures ₹600 Crore Defence Electronics Orders Across Key Airborne, Naval, and Radar Programs

AXISCADES Technologies Limited, a leading player in electronics, defence, semiconductor, and AI-enabled systems, has announced a series of major defence electronics orders across airborne, naval, and radar programs. These contracts, secured through its defence subsidiary Mistral Solutions Pvt. Ltd., reinforce the company’s position as a critical technology enabler in India’s defence modernization drive.

 

The combined value of these new orders is estimated at around ₹600 crore, to be executed over the next three to five years. The orders encompass both design and development phases followed by full-scale production, providing a steady revenue stream for the company.

 

Strategic Defence Contracts Awarded

  1. Su-30 MKI Upgrade – VIRUPAKSHA AESA Radar Program
    Awarded by the Electronics & Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), DRDO, AXISCADES will develop and supply critical radar sub-systems including the Exciter Unit, Receiver Unit, and Antenna Beam Control Motherboard. These components are key to enabling Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar capabilities on the upgraded Su-30MKI fighter aircraft, replacing legacy Russian radar systems.
  • Development: ₹4 crore | Production: ₹120 crore
  • Execution Timeline: 18 months for development; production across 84 aircraft over 3–5 years.

 

  1. KUSHA – Long Range Battle Management Radar (LRBMR)
    Under a contract from Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Mistral Solutions will develop and supply Digital Beam Forming Units for the indigenous LRBMR system, designed for battlefield surveillance over 500 km.
  • Development: ₹9 crore | Production: ₹150 crore (75 units over 5 years)

 

  1. S-Band Surveillance Radar Modules
    AXISCADES will develop Digital Transmit and Receive Modules (DTM/DRM) for surveillance radars under another LRDE contract.
  • Development: ₹3 crore | Production: ₹200 crore (400 units over 2–4 years)

 

  1. S-Band Octal Digital Modules for Radar Systems
    A separate LRDE contract includes the design and delivery of S-Band Octal Digital Transmit and Receive Modules (ODTRM/ODRM), advancing indigenous radar capabilities.
  • Development: ₹1.8 crore | Production: ₹150 crore (500 units over 2–4 years)

 

  1. Sonar Subsystems for Submarine Modernization
    Under a supply order from BEL, Mistral will deliver sonar subsystems for Indian Navy submarine upgrades. These systems are expected to be deployed across multiple naval platforms in the coming years.
  • Development: ₹19.82 crore | Production: ₹60 crore
  • Execution Timeline: Development in 15 months; production over 5 years.
