Avantel Limited wins ₹123 crore antenna order from NewSpace India Limited

Avantel Limited on Tuesday said it has received a purchase order worth ₹122.58 crore (excluding taxes) from NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) for the supply, installation and commissioning of S/X-band with Ka-band ready full motion antennas.

The order was received via email on February 10, 2026, and is classified as a domestic contract, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Under the terms of the agreement, Avantel will provide advanced satellite communication antennas capable of operating across S, X and Ka frequency bands, which are widely used in space missions for telemetry, tracking and command (TT&C), satellite data transmission and deep space communication.

The project is scheduled to be completed by August 2027. As part of the contractual obligations, the company will furnish a security deposit of 2.5% and a performance bank guarantee of 0.5% of the contract value.

NewSpace India Limited is the commercial arm of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), responsible for commercialising India’s space technologies and satellite services.

The order significantly strengthens Avantel’s position in India’s fast-growing space communications and defence electronics ecosystem and adds meaningfully to its order book in high-technology aerospace systems.
